Portable Blender
Design Brief
Targeted Audience: College student, first-time
homeowners/renters, moms, dads and
professional chefs
The focus of the design of the hand blender is
simple, clean, and easy-to-use. One of the
major considerations of the design is how the
user’s interaction with the product can be
improved. The main goal was to make the user’s
interaction with the product seamless and
hassle-free when grabbing the hand blender,
meaning they do not have to constantly adjust
their grip. This is achieved by customization of
the handle’s shape and the addition of the finger
pads. In addition, the blender has rechargeable
batteries so users no longer have to deal with
electrical cords.
